John Latraverse, Jr., 88 of Central Falls, passed away March 24, 2020, at Rhode Island Hospital surrounded by family members.Born in Pawtucket, RI, he is survived by his beloved wife Dolores (Alinio) Latraverse and together they shared 63 wonderful years together. He worked for many years at the Leesona Corporation in Warwick. John leaves behind to cherish his memory his six loving children, Valerie Farrell of Cumberland, Melissa Flaherty and husband John of Slatersville, Belinda Duffin and husband Craig of Pawtucket, Michael Latraverse of Pawtucket, Brenda Slavin and husband Dan of Coventry and Clarissa Latraverse of Central Falls. He was a loving grandfather to Susan Tomaselli, Amy Farrell, Rachel, Jacqueline and Lillian Flaherty, Sarah and Maddeline Duffin, Courtney Moore, and Dennis and Kaleigh Slavin. He leaves behind five great-grandchildren. He was the uncle to several nieces and nephews. He is survived by his brother Louise Latraverse of Pawtucket. John was preceded in death by his siblings, Albert Latraverse, Raymond Latraverse and Alice Marques. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. He enjoyed working in the yard, tending to his flowers, family outings to the beach, and draft beer. His wry wit and jokes will be sorely missed. Due to the Covid-19 health crisis, services will be private, but a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
